Bible Chat: Prayer Journal respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect
Information you provide
You may provide optional profile details during onboarding or in settings, such as your name, faith tradition, age range, goals, and topics you want help with.

Content you create
If you use chat or reflection features, we process the messages you send to generate responses. Chat history may be stored on your device so you can see previous messages.

App usage and device information
We may collect basic usage events (for example, screens opened and feature taps) and limited device or app information needed for analytics and reliability.

Purchases and subscription status
If you purchase Premium, your subscription status is handled by the app stores and our purchase provider. We receive purchase and entitlement information needed to unlock features and prevent fraud. We do not receive your full payment card number.

Notifications
If you enable notifications, the app may schedule reminders and verse nudges on your device. You can turn these off at any time in Settings.

How we use information
We use information to operate the app, personalize your experience, generate AI responses you request, sync and verify Premium access, schedule reminders you enable, improve features, and keep the app secure.

How we share information
We share information only as needed to provide the service, such as:
- Analytics provider (to understand app usage and improve reliability)
- Purchase provider (to process subscriptions and restore purchases)
- AI service providers (to generate responses when you request AI features)
We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention
Some data is stored locally on your device (such as settings, streaks, and chat history). You can clear chat history from Settings. We retain service data only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy.

Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100 percent secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children
The app is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Your choices
You can update your profile in Settings, disable notifications in Settings or device settings, and clear chat history from Settings. You can also manage or restore subscriptions through the Premium screen.
